8. Use of Lead Forensics
We use a B2B lead generation and analytics service called Lead Forensics to help us understand how businesses engage with our website. Lead Forensics identifies the company associated with a business IP address when a visitor accesses our site. This information is used to better tailor our marketing, improve user experience, and support our commercial outreach efforts.
What Data Is Collected
Lead Forensics may collect:
- The IP address of the device accessing our site
- Non-personally identifiable technical data (e.g. pages visited, referral source, device/browser info)
- Publicly available firmographic details related to the visiting business
In some cases, we may use the Lead Forensics advanced tracking script, which sets a first-party persistent cookie (named Ifuuid) to enhance match accuracy. This cookie does not contain personally identifiable information and is valid for up to 12 months. When used, this cookie is only activated after the visitor provides appropriate consent via our cookie banner, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
We do not use Lead Forensics to identify or track individuals. The service is strictly limited to business-to-business (B2B) data and does not associate IP addresses with specific individuals unless personal data is explicitly provided by the visitor through a form or other interaction.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process data obtained via Lead Forensics on the basis of our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in generating B2B leads, understanding audience engagement, and improving our services. Where cookie-based tracking is used, it is only activated after obtaining user consent in jurisdictions where this is required.
